YSRCP Accuses TDP of DSC‑2025 Scam, Demands CBI Probe and Resignation of Education Minister

During a brief press meet on Sunday, YSRCP Youth Wing President Jakkampudi Raja went beyond the usual political rhetoric, brandishing what he called “strong proof” – audio leaks, documentary snippets and a string of testimonies – to back up his claim that the Mega District Selection Committee (DSC‑2025) is riddled with irregularities.

Raja’s main gripe is the alleged misuse of the sports quota to barter teacher positions. “We have recordings where the price was openly negotiated,” he said, adding that candidates who never cleared the mandatory TET exam were nonetheless handed jobs. Even athletes who had only a participation certificate in obscure games were apparently favoured over national‑level sportspersons.

He contrasted this with the recruitment drive led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for village and ward secretariats, insisting that no fault was found in that process – a subtle nod to his party’s own record of transparency.

According to Raja, the TDP’s response has been to divert attention toward a separate “Group I” issue, hoping to bury the DSC controversy. When the YSRCP asked for a CBI probe into both matters, the state government allegedly backed away, a move Raja interpreted as an admission of guilt.

The criticism didn’t stop there. Raja took a swipe at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of staying silent to protect his son, who, according to the YSRCP, is implicated in the scandal. “While Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy demanded a CBI probe when Jagan was under fire, Chandrababu now hides behind silence,” Raja remarked, drawing a moral comparison between the two chief ministers.

He also hinted that the CM’s hesitancy may stem from the fallout of the TTD laddu case, where political meddling back‑fired. “He fears another CBI investigation that could rattle his own house,” Raja concluded.

The YSRCP’s demand is clear: a full‑scale CBI inquiry into the DSC‑2025 irregularities and the resignation of Education Minister K. Lokesh. Whether the central agency will be called in remains to be seen, but the party says the evidence is already “in the public glare.”
