Your WMUR Morning Weather Update: November 23, 2025

Good morning, New Hampshire, and happy Sunday! Hope you're enjoying a little slower pace this morning, because Mother Nature is certainly giving us a day to savor, at least visually. As you step out the door, or perhaps just glance out the window with your coffee, you'll definitely notice that crisp, unmistakable late-November air. We're seeing temperatures generally hovering in the low to mid-30s across much of the state right now, maybe a touch warmer right along the immediate coastline. A few scattered clouds are hanging around, but honestly, it’s not a bad start at all for this time of year, you know?

Now, as we push through your Sunday morning and into the afternoon hours, here’s the good news: those clouds we’re seeing? They're actually going to thin out quite a bit! So, we're in for what I'd call a rather pleasant afternoon, assuming you don't mind bundling up just a little. Think mid-40s for most of us today, perhaps even touching the upper 40s in a few spots, especially if you're closer to the ocean. It’s shaping up to be a really nice day for any last-minute errands before the work week begins, or hey, even just a brisk walk to enjoy the quiet before dinner. And the wind? Well, thankfully, it'll be fairly light, just a gentle breeze from the northwest, so no major wind chills to worry about, which is always a bonus.

Once the sun dips below the horizon this evening, however, that’s when things cool down quite noticeably. With those mostly clear skies, any warmth we gained today will dissipate pretty quickly. We’re expecting overnight lows to plunge into the low 20s for much of the interior, and honestly, don't be surprised if some of those colder, more sheltered valleys see temperatures dip even into the upper teens. Along the coast, you might just barely stay above freezing, but either way, this is definitely a night to ensure you’ve got extra blankets ready and maybe even nudge up the thermostat a degree or two. Frost will be widespread, so a heads-up if you have anything sensitive still outdoors.

Looking ahead, as we head into the start of your work week, Monday is shaping up to be another beautiful day, though still on the chilly side, of course.
