Your Weekend Weather Check: New Hampshire's Evening Forecast & Sunday Outlook

Well, what a lovely Saturday we've had across much of New Hampshire, wouldn't you say? Lots of folks got to enjoy some really pleasant conditions out there today, perfect for getting a head start on those weekend plans or maybe just soaking up a little sunshine. But as we head deeper into our Saturday evening, May 24th, 2026, things are certainly going to start cooling down. So, if you're planning on being out and about, especially as the sun dips below the horizon, you'll definitely want to grab an extra layer or two, trust me on that one!

For tonight, we're looking at clear to partly cloudy skies across most of the Granite State, which is great for stargazers, honestly. However, those clear skies also mean temperatures are going to take a pretty significant tumble after dark. We’re expecting lows to generally settle into the upper 40s to low 50s for most of the region. Now, if you're up in the North Country, or perhaps closer to some of our beautiful lakes and mountains, don't be surprised to see those thermometers dip even further, maybe even into the mid-40s in a few isolated spots. So, yes, a bit of a crisp feel to the air will be with us overnight.

But hey, don't let that chill fool you into thinking the whole weekend is going to be nippy! We've got some absolutely gorgeous weather lined up for your Sunday, May 25th. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a real winner, actually. Expect plenty of sunshine to return, painting our skies a beautiful blue once again. It’s going to be one of those classic New Hampshire late-spring days that just makes you want to get outside and breathe in that fresh air.

Daytime highs on Sunday are looking much more comfortable, climbing into the mid to upper 60s for most areas, and potentially even touching the low 70s in the southernmost parts of the state. We’re also anticipating lighter winds compared to what we’ve seen in recent days, which will make those temperatures feel even more pleasant. So, whether you're thinking about a hike, a bike ride, or perhaps just a relaxed afternoon on the patio, Sunday really looks like the perfect day for it. No major weather worries on the horizon for your Sunday plans, which is always a relief, isn't it?

Looking ahead just a touch, the start of next week seems to continue this mostly pleasant pattern, though we might see a slight increase in cloud cover as Monday progresses.
