World Leaders, Celebrities and Activists Unite to Honor Gloria Steinem

Gloria Steinem, the unmistakable face of the American women’s movement, died on Wednesday at her New York City home, aged 92. The news sent ripples through the halls of power, the stages of Hollywood and the living rooms of ordinary people who had, in one way or another, felt her influence.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris took to Facebook, describing Steinem as "kind, sharp and witty."
