WestJet Charts a New Course with Historic Boeing Order for 67 Next-Generation Jets

Calgary, Alberta – WestJet, Canada's leading leisure and low-cost carrier, has announced a landmark agreement with Boeing for the largest aircraft order in the airline's history. This significant deal includes 67 state-of-the-art 737 MAX airplanes, poised to revolutionize WestJet’s fleet, bolster its growth trajectory, and enhance the travel experience for millions of Canadians.

The comprehensive order comprises 42 firm orders for the highly efficient 737-10 and an additional 22 737-9 aircraft.

Furthermore, WestJet has secured options for 23 more airplanes, bringing the potential total to 90 advanced jets. This strategic investment underscores WestJet's commitment to expanding its network, offering more destinations, and delivering unparalleled value to its guests.
