Vishwanath & Sons Streams on Netflix – All You Need to Know

After a theatrical run that started on August 14, the romantic family drama Vishwanath & Sons is finally heading to your screen at home. The official word from Netflix’s social channels says the film will go live on the platform on September 11, 2026.

Fans of Suriya and Mamitha Baiju can now stream the movie in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam – basically every major South‑Indian language plus the pan‑Indian Hindi version. It’s a nice spread, especially for those who missed the cinema outing.

The story follows Sanjay Vishwanath (Suriya), an industrialist who also happens to be an Olympic gold‑medallist. He’s not interested in settling down, yet his mother keeps nudging him toward parenthood. In a twist, Sanjay opts for a surrogate child from the United States. Mamitha Baiju plays Maddy, the surrogate mother, and what begins as a business arrangement soon turns into something more complicated when their newborn faces a health scare.

Beyond the romance, the film touches on childhood trauma, the pressures of parenting, and the clash between societal expectations and personal choices. It’s a mix of heart‑warming moments and deeper emotional beats.

Joining Suriya and Mamitha are Radhikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon, who add their own flavour to the narrative. The film is directed by Venky Atluri – the same mind behind Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar – and produced by Sithara Entertainments together with Fortune Four Cinemas.
