VCI Unveils First Round Allotment for All India Quota Veterinary Seats: Your Path to a Rewarding Career Begins Now!

For countless aspiring veterinary professionals across India, a significant milestone has just been reached! The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) has officially announced the much-anticipated first-round allotment results for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) undergraduate veterinary seats. This declaration marks a pivotal moment for candidates who participated in the counselling process for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) courses.

Candidates can now eagerly check their allotment status by visiting the official VCI counselling website: aipvt.vci.nic.in.

It is crucial for all applicants to review their results promptly and prepare for the next steps in their admission journey.

Following the first-round allotment, selected candidates are required to report to their respective allotted colleges between November 28, 2022, and December 5, 2022. This reporting period is strictly enforced, and candidates must ensure they complete all necessary formalities within this timeframe to secure their admission.

To ensure a smooth admission process, candidates must arrive at their allotted institution with a comprehensive set of documents.

This includes, but is not limited to: the VCI Allotment Letter, their NEET UG Admit Card, NEET UG Rank Letter, original mark sheets and certificates for both 10th and 12th standards, a valid photo identification card, eight passport-sized photographs, and the provisional allotment letter. Furthermore, candidates claiming reservation benefits must present their Caste/EWS certificates, and those with disabilities must provide their Disability Certificate.

For those who may not have secured a seat in the first round or wish to explore further options, the VCI has outlined a clear schedule for subsequent counselling rounds.

The second round of allotment results is slated for announcement on December 7, 2022. Following this, the reporting period for second-round successful candidates will be from December 8 to December 12, 2022.

Should seats remain vacant after the first two rounds, a Mop-up Round will be conducted.

The results for the Mop-up Round are scheduled to be announced on December 14, 2022, with the reporting window for this round set from December 15 to December 19, 2022.
