Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Honors Teachers and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on Teacher's Day

On Teacher’s Day, September 5, Uttarakhand’s chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stood at his official residence, a simple bouquet in hand, and remembered the great scholar‑statesman Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The former president, a Bharat Ratna laureate, is revered not just for his political legacy but for his lifelong devotion to education.

“Teachers are nation‑builders,” the CM said, his voice carrying a mix of reverence and urgency.
