EXCLUSIVE : UTA has signed actor Luther Ford , who broke out with his turn as Prince Harry in The Crown ‘s final season, for representation in all areas. A film student booked from an open casting call, Ford can be seen in the Emmy winning Netflix drama’s last set of six episodes, appearing opposite Ed McVey, who portrays Harry’s older brother, Price William.
Released in two volumes, beginning last November, Season 6 hinges in part on the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and the impact the loss had on her two sons. It takes place from 1997 to 2005, during Tony Blair’s tenure as Prime Minister, and finds Harry the black sheep of the family, in contrast to William, who understands that he’s part of something bigger than himself, as part of the royal family.
Friction and differences between the two are most highlighted in the finale, as Harry embarrasses the family after being photographed wearing a Nazi uniform at a costume party.
