Well, the affected products were distributed across various U.S. states – including Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington. These weren't just sold in retail stores; hair professionals also purchased them through 21 different distributors. The crucial detail lies in the batch codes printed on the cans.

A specific list of 25 batch codes has been identified as problematic. If you have this mousse at home or in your salon, please take a moment to look for codes like 2901X4577N, 290265P91O, 290994281N, 291435H77O, 291616B68P, or 293066U32P. These are just examples, of course, but if your can sports one of these or any of the other 19 affected codes, it’s best to err on the side of caution.
