There are only 16 penthouses within New York City ’s Ritz Carlton NoMad, and now not one but two units have opened up in the sought after tower. Perched 500 feet above Manhattan atop the swanky Rafael Viñoly designed tower at 25 West 28th Street, a fully furnished apartment on the 42nd floor and another on the 41st floor have just hit the market.
Listed for a cool $9 million, PH41D measures 1,848 square feet, while PH42A , which spans 1,750 square feet, is asking for $11 million. Developed by Flag Luxury Group, both homes feature two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The smaller unit has a bigger price tag because it offers a prime corner position and slightly better views of Hudson Yards, One World Trade, and the Statue of Liberty, but other than that, the turnkey apartments are virtually the same.
“This is genuinely one of the sost unique residential opportunities in N.Y.C.,” notes the listing, which is held by Lauren Mitinas Kelly of Serhant. If you’re stacking the two abodes up against each other, both sport soaring 10 foot ceilings, white oak flooring, decorative millwork, and Poliform kitchens that are equipped with white quartzite islands and bronzed glass cabinets with LED lighting.
There’s also a slew of top of the line appliances from Miele, including double ovens, an induction stove, and a wine fridge. Elsewhere, the stately bathrooms are decked out with glossy Bardiglio Nuvolato marble floors and walls, freestanding Duravit soaking tubs, stylish Dornbracht fixtures, and custom carved Terrazzo sinks.
Plus, you’ll find a separate rainfall shower with frameless, acid etched glass. Considering the 44 story tower is part hotel, owners can stay for up to 120 nights per year and opt to have their lavish apartments managed by The Ritz Carlton while they’re away. Naturally, the pad has an owner’s closet for storage, an in unit stacked washer and dryer, and a Lutron panel for automatic lighting and drapery controls.
Of course, residents of The Ritz Carlton NoMad can take advantage of the building’s array of five star amenities. Some of the most notable perks include a state of the art spa with steam rooms and saunas, a 24/7 fitness center, a luxe rooftop bar, and two restaurants from World Central Kitchen founder José Andrés , Zaytinya and The Bazaar.
Even better for hungry residents with a gastronimic bent, the Michelin starred chef is also at the helm of the in room dining menu.
