TVS Motor Company has once again showcased its formidable prowess in the global automotive market, announcing an extraordinary sales performance for August 2025. The renowned manufacturer crossed a significant milestone, registering a total sale of 5,12,000 units, encompassing both two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

This remarkable figure represents a robust growth of 31.3% compared to the 3,90,000 units sold in August 2024, solidifying TVS's position as a dominant player in the industry.

The lion's share of this success comes from the two-wheeler segment, which saw sales surge to an impressive 4,88,000 units in August 2025, a substantial leap from the 3,70,000 units sold in the corresponding month last year, marking a growth of 31.9%.

Within this segment, domestic two-wheeler sales demonstrated compelling strength, climbing to 3,85,000 units, up from 2,95,000 units in August 2024, recording a healthy 30.5% increase.

Both motorcycles and scooters contributed significantly to this domestic triumph. Motorcycle sales hit 1,80,000 units, a notable rise of 24% from 1,45,000 units in August 2024.

Meanwhile, the scooter segment continued its upward trajectory, with 1,25,000 units sold, an impressive 27.5% growth over the 98,000 units sold during the same period last year. These figures underscore the robust demand for TVS's diverse and innovative two-wheeler portfolio across the country.

Beyond national borders, TVS Motor Company's export strategy is clearly paying dividends.

Two-wheeler exports alone witnessed an astounding growth of 37.3%, escalating to 1,03,000 units in August 2025 from 75,000 units in August 2024. This international expansion highlights the increasing global appeal and reliability of TVS products.

The three-wheeler segment also played its part in this stellar performance, recording sales of 24,000 units in August 2025, a solid 20% increase from the 20,000 units sold in August 2024.

Overall, the company's total exports, combining both two-wheelers and three-wheelers, reached 1,16,500 units, soaring by approximately 37% from 85,000 units in August 2024.
