TTF Hyderabad 2026 Kicks Off: A Grand Confluence of Indian and International Travel Destinations

Travel Trade Fair Hyderabad 2026 Opens with Over 150 Exhibitors from 15 Indian States and Seven Countries

The latest edition of India’s oldest travel trade show launched at HITEX, showcasing destinations, hospitality brands and tech from across the sub‑continent and abroad.

Hyderabad’s Hall 2 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre buzzed with energy on the opening day of TTF Hyderabad 2026, the newest chapter of India’s longest‑running travel trade‑show network. Organized by Fairfest Media, the three‑day event gathered more than 150 exhibitors representing 15 Indian states and seven foreign countries, all eager to meet the 5,000‑plus travel‑trade professionals expected to walk the floor.

Among the highlights were seven state tourism boards and a slate of international participants, with Thailand proudly wearing the “Feature Country” badge. Telangana, the host state, shared the spotlight with partner states Jammu & Kashmir and Goa, while Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi and Punjab joined as “Feature States”, each showcasing their own signature get‑aways alongside private‑sector partners.

The inauguration was graced by Shri Jupally Krishna Rao, Telangana’s Minister for Tourism, Culture and Archaeology, alongside senior officials from Jammu & Kashmir and the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation. A special moment was the unveiling of the Bathukamma Festival poster, a vibrant reminder of the region’s cultural heritage.

In a candid remark, Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman & CEO of Fairfest Media, noted, “Even though travel to some parts of the world is currently disrupted, Indian travellers haven’t stopped moving. They’re exploring more within India and opting for short‑haul trips, and they’re spending more when they do. The diversity we see on the TTF floor – seven state boards and seven countries – mirrors that very demand.”

The opening day saw a flurry of activity: exhibitors chatted with travel agents, tour operators and buyers from Hyderabad, the wider Telangana region and neighboring markets. Skål International Hyderabad hosted a thought‑provoking panel titled “Hyderabad to the World: Can Telangana Become India’s Next Global Tourism Powerhouse?” while VIHARI OTT gave a sneak‑peek of its upcoming Sri Satya Vietnam series.

Private‑sector participants ranged from the Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre and STIC Travel Group to boutique stays like Amaari Beach Resort and Marigold Regency. The show also benefited from the backing of numerous industry bodies, including SKÅL International Hyderabad, ETAA, TAAI, ADTOI, IATTE, and many more.

International representation spanned Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Maldives and Cambodia, underscoring the fair’s ambition to be a truly global marketplace. As the trade fair unfolds, attendees will have ample opportunity to forge partnerships, discover new itineraries and, perhaps, shape the next wave of travel trends for India’s fast‑growing southern market.
