Tragic Stabbing at Capitola Mall Claims Life of 73‑Year‑Old Woman

On Monday around 12:45 p.m., shoppers at the Capitola Mall were jolted by the sound of police radios and an unsettling commotion near the food‑court exit. Officers arrived to find a 73‑year‑old woman, later identified as Rachell Summers, lying on Clares Street with multiple stab wounds.
