Tragic Shooting Claims Life of Delhi Gym Trainer

On Monday morning, around 10:30 a.m., the quiet hum of South Delhi’s streets was shattered by the sound of gunfire near Hansa Chowk, in the vicinity of the Fatehpur Beri police station. Two men, whose identities are still unknown, allegedly unleashed a volley of ten to twelve rounds, striking a local gym trainer.

The victim was identified as Vijay Kumar, a well‑known trainer who had built a modest reputation among the neighbourhood’s fitness enthusiasts. He was rushed to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, but despite the doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to his wounds later that day.

Eyewitnesses say the incident sent a wave of panic through the area, with residents fleeing the scene and calling for help. "It was like something out of a movie," one by‑stander recalled, describing the sudden burst of bullets and the ensuing chaos.
