Tragic ATV Crash Claims Young Life in New Brunswick Community

ALLARDVILLE, N.B. – A pall of sorrow has fallen over the community of Allardville, New Brunswick, following a tragic all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash on Friday night that claimed the life of a 24-year-old local man. The devastating incident occurred on Route 134, near a convenience store, leaving residents to grapple with the sudden loss.

RCMP officers from the Chaleur Region Detachment were dispatched to the scene shortly after 10:45 p.m.

on May 3rd, responding to reports of a serious single-vehicle collision. Early indications from the police investigation suggest that the ATV, which was being driven by the 24-year-old victim, veered off the road for reasons yet unknown and crashed into a ditch.

Tragically, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

His identity has not been released, pending notification of his family. Accompanying him was a 20-year-old passenger, who sustained serious injuries in the impact. Emergency medical services transported the injured passenger to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.
