Tragedy Strikes Tewksbury: Fatal Head-On Collision Shakes Community

There’s just no easy way to deliver news like this, is there? Early Monday morning, the quiet of Tewksbury was shattered by a truly tragic incident: a head-on car crash on Main Street that, sadly, claimed a life.

The collision, which unfolded near Fairburn Road, involved a 2007 Honda Accord and a 2013 Lexus RX 350. From what we understand so far, the Honda was heading southbound, while the Lexus was traveling north, when the two vehicles tragically met head-on. It's the kind of scenario that just sends a shiver down your spine, honestly.

Heartbreakingly, the driver of the Honda Accord was pronounced deceased right there at the scene. Imagine the shock, the grief for their loved ones – it’s just devastating. At this point, authorities haven't released the victim's name, as they're still in the process of notifying family, which is always the most sensitive part of these situations.

Meanwhile, the individual driving the Lexus RX 350 did sustain injuries, though thankfully, they're not considered life-threatening.
