Tragedy Strikes North Spirit Lake First Nation: Police Probe Fatal Shooting

On Friday evening, just after 5 p.m., officers from the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service responded to a call about a disturbance in the remote community of North Spirit Lake First Nation. The calm of the isolated area was shattered by gunfire, and when police arrived the scene was grim.
