Tragedy Strikes Delhi: Pregnant Woman Stabbed in Public, Husband Kills Attacker in Horrific Love Triangle

A horrifying incident unfolded in broad daylight in West Delhi's Punjabi Bagh, leaving residents stunned and highlighting a deeply disturbing love triangle. A pregnant woman, eight months along, was brutally stabbed multiple times by her former lover on a busy foot overbridge, only for her husband to intervene and fatally kill the assailant.

The victim, identified as Monica (26), was walking with her husband, Manjit Singh (28), when they were confronted by Maninder Singh (27), Monica's former partner.

According to police reports, Maninder, enraged by Monica's reconciliation with her husband and her impending child, launched a ferocious attack. He allegedly pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed Monica in full public view, causing her to collapse.

Witnessing the horrific assault on his pregnant wife, Manjit Singh, in a desperate act of self-preservation and defense, grabbed the same knife that had been used to attack Monica.

In the ensuing struggle, Manjit inflicted fatal stab wounds on Maninder. Both injured parties were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Monica, critically wounded with multiple stab injuries, underwent immediate surgery and is now thankfully in a stable condition, though still recovering from the traumatic ordeal.

Tragically, Maninder Singh succumbed to his injuries.

The Delhi Police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter, registering two separate cases. A case of attempt to murder was filed against Maninder Singh (posthumously) for his brutal attack on Monica. Subsequently, Manjit Singh has been arrested and charged with murder for the death of Maninder.
