Tragedy in Bengaluru: Mother Dies After Brutal Attack Amidst Marriage Dispute

Fifty-year-old Lakshmi Devi’s valiant 20-day struggle for life ended on April 3rd at Victoria Hospital, a devastating conclusion to an argument that turned unspeakably violent.

The incident, which unfolded on March 13th in the Hegganahalli area, stemmed from a heated disagreement between Lakshmi Devi and her son-in-law, Lakshman. Sources close to the family indicate that Lakshman, who is reportedly 30 years old, had been pressing to marry Lakshmi Devi's second daughter, a young woman of 19. Now, why would he want to do that, you ask? Well, it seems his first marriage, to Lakshmi Devi's eldest daughter, had hit a rocky patch, with the daughter reportedly leaving him due to alleged harassment.

Lakshmi Devi, understandably, vehemently opposed this proposal. Imagine her shock and despair!
