Toronto Police Find Mercedes Linked to Fatal Hit‑and‑Run

Toronto police announced early Wednesday that the silver Mercedes‑Benz they’ve been hunting for the past few weeks has finally been located. The vehicle is believed to have been involved in a hit‑and‑run on the night of May 22 that left 22‑year‑old cyclist Maya Gomez dead after she was struck near the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Danforth Avenue East.

Detectives say the car was found parked on a side street a few blocks from the crash site, with its registration plates partially obscured.
