Tim Scott Warns Democrats Could Impeach Trump and Pack the Supreme Court If They Win the Midterms

During a recent segment of Fox News’ "My View," Sen. Tim Scott (R‑SC) urged Republican voters to treat the 2026 midterm elections as a do‑or‑die moment. The former South Carolina congressman warned that if Democrats take control, they won’t just change policy – they’ll pursue impeachment and a radical overhaul of the nation’s highest court.

Host Lara Trump asked, “How big a deal is it to have him out there campaigning to turn out the vote?” referring to former President Donald Trump’s planned campaign trail. Scott’s answer was swift and emphatic.

“Lara, we’re facing the most dangerous, radical, and weird group of Democrats the country has ever seen,” he said. “Having President Trump on the campaign trail isn’t just music to my ears – it actually fires up our base and gets them to the polls.”

He then laid out what he sees as a Democratic playbook: “Every single day, Democrats will find a way to impeach President Trump, his cabinet, and frankly even judges. They want to pack the Supreme Court.” Scott’s tone mixed warning with a call to action.

Scott wrapped up by framing the election as a battle for America’s very identity. “It is the only way we finish the legacy agenda of President Trump that has literally saved this nation from socialism,” he said. “If you believe in keeping America a free‑market, capitalist society, keeping fairness and the American Dream alive, you’ve got to vote for President Trump’s agenda – which means supporting Republicans in the House as well as the Senate.”
