Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV) is set to undergo a monumental transformation with an ambitious expansion project valued at Rs 1300 crore. Under the stewardship of Adani Airports, the expansion blueprint outlines a series of critical upgrades.

A cornerstone of the project is the extension of the main runway by 1150 meters, bringing its total length to an impressive 3400 meters. This crucial enhancement will enable the airport to accommodate larger, wide-bodied aircraft, facilitating direct long-haul flights and boosting international connectivity.

Beyond the runway, passengers can look forward to a dramatically improved terminal experience.

The plans include the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art terminal building. This modern facility will feature up to 18 aerobridges, ensuring smoother and more efficient boarding and deplaning processes.
