The Silence Before the Storm: A Doctor's Tragic End in Satara

Such is the case with Dr. Prashant Bankar, a 43-year-old physician from Satara, Maharashtra, whose life, it seems, ended not with a sudden, dramatic event, but with a slow, grinding despair. His passing, ruled a suicide, has since spiraled into a much larger, more troubling narrative, culminating in the arrest of his wife, Prajakta.

You see, Dr. Bankar wasn't just another statistic. He was a respected professional, a husband, a father to two young daughters. And yet, beneath the surface, a torrent of alleged torment was brewing. The police investigation, stretching over two months, paints a stark picture: a man driven to the brink, his final act — a suicide note found in his car — speaking volumes of what he endured.
