Though the first Supergirl movie in the DCU — titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow — was announced to be part of Phase One, the outlet says the character could be making a cameo in a DC movie that isn’t said film.

A director for the movie is still being searched for, but it sounds as though an actress for the character is the current priority since she could appear in a project beforehand. DC Studios co CEO is apparently involved in the process, with the screen tests likely to take place in the next month. What other projects will be part of the DCU’s first phase? The DC Universe’s first phase, called Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will feature a multitude of different movies and television shows.
