The actor shared the photos of her look along with a detailed note sharing all the exquisite elements of her ensemble.

She wrote, "Wearing this @jigyam ensemble is what Indian textile dreams are made of! It's my BFFs wedding and this was the perfect chance for me to wear a beautiful outfit that was made from actual vintage old Banarasee saree with real gold weave with all antique techniques of surface embroidery; they have added all vintage tassels with shells and pearls and the dupatta is embroidered with vintage mochi workpieces which are over 60 years old and is one of the finest techniques of embroidery from Gujarat." (Instagram) Sonam added that her silver jewellery 'are actual antique pieces which have been collected over a period of time and payal and bangles are more than 80 90 years old antique pieces!' Meanwhile, Anand Ahuja wore a gorgeous resham work kurta from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

As for their footwear, Sonam's juttis are from Fizzy Goblet and Anand's are from Rajesh Pratap Singh. (Instagram) Sonam's silk lehenga choli set comes in a multi coloured palette of red, blue, green, gold, purple, pink, and orange shades. While the blouse features a round neckline, half length sleeves, and a relaxed fitting, the skirt has an A line design, pleated silhouette, and broad patti borders.

Lastly, real gold brocade embroidery, gold vintage tassels, and pearls elevated Sonam's vintage ethnic look. (Instagram) In the end, Sonam chose on fleek eyebrows, kohl lined eyes, mascara on the lashes, mauve lip shade, rouge on the cheeks, a dewy base, shimmery mauve eye shadow, and highlighter on the contours for the glam picks.

Centre parted and open silky straight locks gave the finishing touch. (Instagram) Earlier, Sonam posted another ethnic look from her BFF's wedding function with the caption, “It's taken me 16 months to feel like myself again. Slowly steadily without any crash diets and crazy workouts just consistent self care and baby care.

I'm not there yet but almost where I want to be...still very very grateful for my body and how incredible it has been. Being a woman is a wondrous thing. #babymomma #proudwoman #everydayphenomenal #vayusparents.” (Instagram) Sonam wore an ivory half sleeved blouse, a lehenga skirt, and a matching dupatta.

She styled the ensemble with gold and pearl jhumkis, rings, a centre parted sleek bun, subtle eye shadow, kohl lined eyes, a nude lip shade, blushed cheekbones, a dewy base, and mascara on the lashes. (Instagram).
