Sonam Kapoor celebrated the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti by sharing pictures of herself dressed in a beauteous anarkali set on Instagram. "Makar Sankranti ki shubh kamnayein! Congratulations on Lohri, dhol di dhadak, mithaas di baarish, Lohri di aayi hai taiyaari," she captioned the post.
The pictures show Sonam wearing a red floral printed anarkali and posing like a dream while holding a rose in her hands. (Instagram) Sonam Kapoor's anarkali set is from the shelves of designer Rohit Bahl's eponymous label. It features a floor length anarkali kurta, churidar pyjamas, and a matching dupatta.
Meanwhile, the floral pattern on the bright red shades comes in yellow, green, white, red and pink hues. Scroll down to read our detailed description of her ethnic look. (Instagram) The anarkali has a round neckline, full length sleeves, cinched detail under the bust, a flowy skirt with a pleated design, and a layered ghera.
The actor wore it with red pants and a matching print dupatta draped on her shoulder in a floor sweeping length. (Instagram) Sonam accessorised the ensemble with embroidered juttis, kundan adorned gold rings, rose adorned hair ornaments, and beauteous chandbalis. Lastly, a centre parted braided bun, darkened brows, a bindi, berry lip shade, rouge on the cheekbones, smudged eye shadow, mascara on the lashes, and highlighter completed the glam picks.
(Instagram) Earlier, Sonam Kapoor shared pictures of herself dressed in a beige silk lehenga set decked in gold gota patti embroidery and floral kadhai in green, white and pink hues. She wore the ensemble for a friend's wedding function. "A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost," Sonam captioned the post.
(Instagram) While Sonam's choli has a round neckline, half length sleeves, and a fitted bust, the skirt has flowy layered ghera and dori ties. Lastly, the actor draped the dupatta on her shoulders to complete the traditional look. Kolhapuri sandals and gold and emerald jewellery, including a choker necklace, bangles, bracelets, jhumkis, rings, and a mang tika completed the accessories.
(Instagram) Lastly, centre parted braided hairdo, kohl lined eyes, smoky eye shadow, feathered brows, mauve lip shade, blushed cheekbones, and highlighter on the contours completed the glam picks with Sonam's beige embroidered lehenga set. (Instagram).
