Sinexcel named to Forbes Asia’s Best Under a Billion 2026 for the second time
Chinese energy‑tech firm Sinexcel has been listed among Forbes Asia’s Best Under a Billion 2026, marking its second appearance after the 2023 edition.
Hong Kong, 21 Oct 2026 – Sinexcel (300693.SZ), the Shanghai‑based maker of energy‑storage systems, EV chargers and power‑quality gear for AI‑driven data centres, just saw its name appear on Forbes Asia’s Best Under a Billion 2026 list.
The list, published in the August 2026 issue of Forbes Asia, is an unranked roll‑call of roughly 200 publicly listed firms plucked from a pool of more than 19,000 companies across the region. To make the cut, a company must pull annual revenues between US$10 million and US$1 billion and satisfy a battery of quantitative and qualitative tests – from debt ratios and earnings‑per‑share growth to corporate governance and environmental stewardship.
This year, Sinexcel is one of 28 Chinese companies honoured, recognized for its solid financials and relentless business expansion. Over the past five years the firm logged a compound annual growth rate of just over 35 % in both revenue and net profit, while its return on equity and return on invested capital each sat comfortably above the 20 % mark.
Innovation has been the engine behind that momentum. From 2019 through 2025, Sinexcel invested more than US$176 million in research and development, and by the end of 2025 roughly 30 % of its 2,600‑plus staff were technical specialists.
Founded in 2007, the company now boasts 17 GW of installed storage capacity, more than 200,000 DC EV chargers in the field, close to 20 million amperes of active harmonic filters, and upwards of 700 power‑quality projects for data centres worldwide. Its Q1‑Q3 2026 performance also earned it a BloombergNEF Tier 1 Power Inverter Manufacturer badge.
Beyond the hardware, Sinexcel is sharpening its ESG credentials. At the 2025 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Action Awards™, the firm took home a Silver award for Promotion and Succession and a Bronze for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – a testament to its growing focus on people and planet.
“Being named by Forbes for the second time validates the hard work of our teams and the trust our customers place in us,” said a Sinexcel spokesperson. “We’ll keep pushing the envelope on power electronics, deepening global partnerships, and delivering reliable, efficient energy solutions that enable true energy freedom.”
