Shocking Discovery: Man Arrested After Allegedly Placing Loaded 'Ghost Gun' on Baby During High-Speed Chase in Fairfield

A terrifying scene unfolded in Fairfield just days before Christmas, leading to the dramatic arrest of a Vallejo man who allegedly committed an act of shocking disregard: placing a loaded firearm on a baby while desperately attempting to elude police.

The incident began around 9:00 p.m. on December 23, 2023, when Fairfield police officers, patrolling near North Texas Street and Clay Street in downtown Fairfield, observed a vehicle traveling at an excessive speed and brazenly running a red light.

Recognizing the immediate danger posed by such reckless driving, officers initiated a traffic stop. However, the driver had no intention of complying.
