The Sewickley Academy boys' soccer team is navigating the early stages of its 2023 season with a blend of promising performances and clear areas for development. Under the guidance of coach Matt Neill, the Panthers are embracing a philosophy of continuous improvement, recognizing that while individual talent shines, collective cohesion is key to long-term success.

Opening their section play against Bishop Canevin, the Panthers showcased their attacking potential with a dominant 6-0 victory.

This impressive start saw senior Michael Woo lead the charge with a hat trick, supported by goals from Hudson Collinger, Cooper Wentz, and Wyatt Rhyner. Such a comprehensive win not only boosted team morale but also demonstrated the firepower available within the squad.
