As world leaders convened inside the hallowed halls of the United Nations General Assembly, a different kind of assembly was taking place just outside, one fueled by raw emotion, unwavering determination, and a burning desire for justice. Iranian-Americans and a coalition of global dissidents gathered in New York, not merely to protest, but to deliver a resounding condemnation against Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, whose presence at the UN was met with fervent outrage.

The air vibrated with chants of "Raisi is a murderer!" and "Butcher of Tehran!", as thousands stood unified against a man they hold directly responsible for untold human rights abuses.

This wasn't just a political demonstration; it was a visceral outcry from a community deeply scarred by the actions of a brutal regime. Raisi, known by many as the "Butcher of Tehran" for his instrumental role in the 1988 massacre of political prisoners, found himself directly confronted by the very people his regime sought to silence.
