Shares list at Rs 80, about 2.4% below issue price despite grey‑market optimism
RK Fashion Accessories listed on the NSE SME platform at Rs 80 per share, a small discount to its Rs 82 IPO price, falling short of the 2% grey‑market premium that traders had expected.
On October 12, 2026, RK Fashion Accessories Ltd made its first appearance on the NSE SME exchange. The opening price was set at Rs 80 a share, which is roughly a 2.44 % discount to the upper end of the issue price band of Rs 82.
Market observers had been buzzing about a grey‑market premium (GMP) of around 2 % on the morning of the listing, according to Investorgain data. That optimism, however, didn’t translate into an immediate upside; the shares opened lower instead of higher.
The IPO itself was a modest Rs 35 crore raise, opened for subscription from October 5 to October 7. The issue price was fixed between Rs 77 and Rs 82 per share, and the overall subscription stood at 2.70 times. Demand varied across investor types – qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) showed the strongest appetite with a 14.11‑times subscription, individual investors came in at 3.11‑times, while non‑institutional investors subscribed 1.77 times.
All 42.67 lakh shares offered were part of a fresh issue; there was no offer‑for‑sale component. The lot size was set at 1,600 shares. For retail participants, the minimum application was two lots (3,200 shares), which meant a minimum outlay of Rs 2,62,400. High‑net‑worth individuals (HNIs) had to apply for at least three lots (4,800 shares), amounting to Rs 3,93,600.
Affinity Global Capital Market Pvt Ltd acted as the book‑running lead manager, Cameo Corporate Services Ltd handled registrar duties, and Anant Securities was appointed market maker. Post‑listing, the company’s market capitalisation was reported at roughly Rs 124.13 crore.
Management has outlined a clear roadmap for the proceeds. About Rs 8.80 crore is earmarked for a new plating facility in Baruipur, Kolkata, while Rs 5.37 crore will fund a B2B showroom in the same city. An additional Rs 2.48 crore is slated for B2C store expansion, Rs 5.60 crore for inventory, and Rs 5.21 crore for working capital needs. The remaining funds will be kept for general corporate purposes, bringing the total earmarked amount to Rs 27.47 crore.
Founded in March 2010, RK Fashion Accessories operates in the imitation jewellery space, leveraging contract manufacturing and wholesale distribution, and also dabbles in branded cosmetics. Its product line blends traditional designs with contemporary trends, catering to both B2B and B2C customers through wholesale, retail, and an online multi‑platform strategy.
