Rekha Gupta Sparks 'Ram Rajya' Debate in Delhi Amidst Midnight Deadline for Festive Celebrations

In a move that has ignited political debate across the capital, BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Rekha Gupta, declared that 'Ram Rajya should come to Delhi.' Her powerful statement coincided with her decision to extend the deadline for Ramleela and Durga Puja celebrations in her ward from the usual 10 PM to a more accommodating midnight.

Gupta's remarks were not merely a religious or cultural appeal but a direct challenge to the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

She vehemently criticized the AAP dispensation, alleging that its officials were deliberately harassing citizens celebrating these significant festivals.
