The accused, identified as 28-year-old Goutham, a native of West Bengal, was employed at a prominent jewellery workshop situated in Basaveshwaranagar.

The owner of the workshop, Girish, was left reeling after discovering a substantial amount of gold missing from his safe, prompting him to file a complaint with the authorities.

Reports indicate that Goutham meticulously planned his move, seizing an opportune moment to pilfer the valuable ornaments directly from the workshop's secure storage.

Following the brazen act, he made a swift exit from Bengaluru, believing he could evade capture by returning to his home state of West Bengal.

However, Goutham's attempts to disappear were short-lived. Upon receiving Girish's complaint, the Rajajinagar police immediately mobilized a dedicated special team.

Employing sophisticated investigative methods and relentless tracking, the team successfully traced Goutham's movements and pinpointed his location in West Bengal, initiating an urgent inter-state operation.

The tenacious police team traveled to West Bengal, where they successfully apprehended Goutham.
