Queen Rock Montreal: Freddie Mercury Performs ‘Get Down Make Love’ in Remastered Concert Film By The iconic British rock band is ready to rock every fan’s world with the digitally remastered version of their historic 1981 live concert, . Set to take the concert to IMAX theaters on January 18–21, a new video has been shared (via ) showing the beloved band bringing the house down with their “Get Down, Make Love” performance.
Following the success of concert films and musical documentaries like , , and the 2022 David Bowie documentary , the remastered 1981 live concert is the only Queen concert remastered for IMAX. This also comes six years after the release of the led , which followed the life of Queen’s frontman — as well as the band’s rise to stardom.
You can watch Queen’s performance clip down below: Experience Queen like never before Bringing the live concert film to the big screen, the remastered Queen Rock Montreal will feature the band performing their greatest hits, such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Under Pressure,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “We Are The Champions,” “Somebody To Love,” “Killer Queen,” and the popular stadium anthem “We Will Rock You.” The band, which consisted of four members (Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon), debuted in the 1970s and has since become one of the most iconic rock bands the world has ever seen.
The two night Queen Rock Montreal concert — recorded at the Montreal Forum — received a Blu ray and DVD release back in 2007. “I don’t think we quite realized it at the time, but this film has preserved one of the highest peaks in Queen’s touring life, on stage in the old glory days. The director [Saul Swimmer] was very much focused on Freddie, and this now stands as probably the most precious intimate capture ever of Mr.
