Political Firestorm Erupts: TDP Accuses YSRCP of Sabotaging Vijayawada Utsav Over Junior NTR Fears

A political tempest is brewing in Andhra Pradesh as Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Kesineni Sivanath has unleashed a scathing attack on leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing them of orchestrating a calculated conspiracy to obstruct the highly anticipated Vijayawada Utsav. The allegations come amidst a backdrop of denied police permissions and claims of politically motivated interference, with the spotlight firmly fixed on the potential participation of actor Junior NTR.

Addressing a charged press conference, Sivanath minced no words, asserting that the ruling YSRCP, gripped by fear over Junior NTR's immense popularity, is desperately attempting to thwart the cultural extravaganza.

According to the TDP leader, the local police, allegedly acting under political pressure, have refused permission for the Utsav, citing frivolous reasons such as potential traffic congestion. Sivanath vehemently challenged this stance, pointing out the stark contrast with events organized by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, which seemingly face no such hurdles and receive swift clearance.

Sivanath highlighted the hypocrisy, recalling that Junior NTR had previously been invited to a cultural festival in Tirupati, an event that proceeded without incident.

He questioned why a similar welcome for the actor in Vijayawada is now being met with such strong resistance and alleged machinations. "The YSRCP leaders are deeply unsettled by Junior NTR's fan following and are actively working to prevent his attendance at the Utsav," Sivanath declared, emphasizing that this obstruction is nothing short of a direct insult to the actor's vast fanbase in Vijayawada.

The TDP leader did not shy away from demanding accountability, urging the YSRCP to publicly clarify its position regarding Junior NTR.

He challenged the ruling party to state unequivocally if they are indeed against the actor's participation in the festival. Sivanath also slammed what he described as the YSRCP's 'fascist' tactics, accusing them of misusing the police force and manipulating administrative processes for political gain.

Despite the formidable obstacles and alleged conspiracies, Kesineni Sivanath reiterated his unwavering commitment to ensuring the Vijayawada Utsav proceeds as planned.

He vowed that the cultural event, a celebration for the people of Vijayawada, would not be derailed by political maneuvering, promising to overcome the challenges posed by the YSRCP and deliver a successful festival to the city.
