Poland Sends Fighter Jets After Suspected Russian Drone Near Its Border

In the early hours of Thursday, the Polish Air Force got an urgent call: radar had picked up an unidentified aerial object buzzing close to the country’s eastern frontier. The object, which officials later described as a Russian‑made drone, was seen skimming the border region before disappearing into the night sky.
