PM Modi Unleashes Scathing Attack: RJD and Congress Accused of Shielding Infiltrators, Threatening India's Demography

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a fierce broadside against the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress party, accusing them of actively protecting infiltrators for their vote bank politics, thereby instigating a 'demographic crisis' in crucial border regions of India. Speaking at a charged election rally, Modi asserted that these parties are engaged in a dangerous game of appeasement, jeopardizing national security and the future of indigenous communities.

Highlighting the alarming situation in Bihar's Seemanchal region—a cluster of districts bordering Nepal and Bangladesh—PM Modi pointed to a significant shift in population dynamics.

He explicitly stated that the RJD and Congress, in their relentless pursuit of power, are fostering an environment where infiltrators are not only tolerated but actively shielded, leading to a demographic imbalance that poses a grave threat to social harmony and internal security. This, he argued, is a deliberate strategy to consolidate a specific vote bank at the expense of national interests.

Modi did not mince words, likening this alleged strategy to 'land jihad,' where land is purportedly encroached upon under the guise of demographic changes.

He drew parallels with the Congress's contentious stance on reservations, recalling how the party recently granted reservations to Muslims in Karnataka under the OBC quota. The Prime Minister warned that the Congress's ambition to replicate this policy nationwide would directly undermine the rights of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, who are the rightful beneficiaries of affirmative action.

Reiterating his previous criticisms, Modi resurrected past statements attributed to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had allegedly advocated for reservations for Muslims.
