“The Viksit Vibrant Village Programme has been conceptualised to realise the Prime Minister’s vision of treating India’s border villages as the first villages of the nation and making them active partners in the journey towards Viksit Bharat,” the PMO statement read. The upcoming interaction, officials added, will let the Prime Minister listen to the participants’ stories, reinforce the government’s commitment to inclusive development, and underscore the strategic importance of these border communities.
