PM Modi Hails Ayushman Bharat as a Healthcare Revolution, Driving India Towards a Developed Future

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently lauded the Ayushman Bharat scheme, declaring it a profound revolution in public healthcare that has fundamentally transformed access to medical services for millions across India. Addressing the 'Viksit Bharat Viksit Rajasthan' program, the Prime Minister highlighted the scheme's monumental success in providing free treatment to crores of impoverished families, significantly alleviating their financial burden.

In his impassioned address, PM Modi underscored that approximately 6.5 crore patients have already benefited from free treatment under Ayushman Bharat, saving an astounding 1.25 lakh crore rupees.

"Ayushman Bharat has become a shield for the poor," he stated, emphasizing that for the first time, the nation is truly experiencing the power of social justice through accessible healthcare. He pointed out that previous administrations, entangled in vote-bank politics, often overlooked the genuine needs of the populace, a pitfall his government is committed to avoiding.

The Prime Minister reiterated his government's unwavering commitment to empowering every segment of society – the poor, farmers, women, and youth – ensuring that development reaches all.

This philosophy was evident in the inauguration and foundation laying of various development projects in Rajasthan, collectively worth over Rs 17,000 crore. These initiatives span critical sectors including roads, railways, solar energy, drinking water, digital infrastructure, educational institutions, and tourism facilities, promising a significant boost to the state's progress and the welfare of its citizens.

Modi also shed light on other transformative schemes aimed at social upliftment.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, for instance, has directly transferred over 2.80 lakh crore rupees to farmers, providing crucial financial stability. He spoke glowingly of 'Nari Shakti' (women power), citing the success of the PM Jan Dhan Yojana in bringing women into the formal banking system, making them integral to the economic fabric.

The 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme, a testament to the government's focus on women's economic empowerment, aims to empower 3 crore women to become 'Lakhpati Didis', fostering self-reliance and prosperity.

The Prime Minister articulated a clear vision for India's future, centered on the guarantee of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047.

He asserted that a developed India is not merely an aspiration but an achievable reality, built on the pillars of national interest and inclusive growth. With Ayushman Bharat leading the charge in healthcare, coupled with robust development in other sectors, India is steadily marching towards becoming a truly prosperous and equitable nation, leaving no one behind in its journey of progress.
