In a candid chat with India Today, director Deepak Kumar Mishra let slip that the show is now deep in the editing phase and could roll out sometime in the October‑November window of 2026. He was quick to add that a firm release date is still being hammered out, so the exact day remains a mystery.

What’s more, Mishra teased the narrative direction. After the dramatic village elections that saw Pradhan Ji lose his seat, the next chapter will explore how that loss reshapes everyday life in Phulera. “Sabki zindagi aage badhegi,” he said, meaning every character’s journey will move forward – the defeated Pradhan will find a new way to walk the lanes of the village, and the rest will adjust to the changed power dynamics.

Importantly, the director put to rest a swirl of rumors that Season 5 might be the series’ swan song. "Nahi, aisa kuch nahi hai," he laughed, confirming that the story still has plenty of room to grow.

As for the familiar faces we’ve grown to love, the core cast is set to return. Jitendra Kumar will reprise his iconic role as the earnest Panchayat secretary, alongside Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik and Chandan Roy.
