Owaisi Unleashes Scathing Attack: Accuses PM Modi of 'Naapaak' Plot to Seize Muslim Sacred Sites

In a fiery address that reverberated across the political landscape, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing his government of harboring "naapaak" (unholy or impure) intentions to seize control of Muslim sacred sites.

Speaking passionately at a public rally in Kishanganj, Bihar, Owaisi declared that Modi's alleged "Waqf Bill" was a nefarious plot that would be met with unwavering resistance from the Muslim community.

Owaisi, known for his unsparing critiques, made it clear that he views any such legislative effort as a direct assault on the religious and constitutional rights of Muslims in India.

"Narendra Modi has brought a Waqf Bill to snatch away Muslims' sacred sites. We will not succeed in his 'naapaak' intentions," Owaisi thundered, his words echoing the deep-seated concerns of his supporters. The rally, held in support of AIMIM candidate Akhtarul Iman, became a platform for Owaisi to articulate the community's anxieties regarding the future of Waqf properties.

Delving into historical context, Owaisi reminded the audience of previous attempts by the Modi government to interfere with Waqf administration.

He recalled the formation of a committee in 2017 to amend the Waqf Act, followed by a 2018 report that proposed significant changes. Owaisi vehemently argued that these moves were not about reform but about systematically eroding the autonomy and ownership of Waqf endowments, which are properties dedicated by Muslims for religious or charitable purposes.

"The government is trying to usurp properties that belong to Allah, properties that are integral to our faith and heritage," Owaisi asserted, emphasizing the sanctity of these sites.

He pledged that the AIMIM and the Muslim community would stand united, employing every legal and political means to thwart what he termed as an insidious attempt to dispossess them of their heritage. His defiant stance underscored a promise to safeguard every inch of Waqf land and uphold the constitutional guarantees for religious minorities.

Beyond his direct confrontation with PM Modi, Owaisi also took aim at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, criticizing him for his alliance with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Owaisi implied that Kumar's partnership with the BJP further jeopardized the interests of minorities, painting a picture of a broader political landscape where Muslim rights were under constant threat. He urged voters to recognize these political maneuvers and to stand firm in protecting their identity and religious freedoms.
