Ontario's Bravest Master the Art of Large Animal Rescue in Guelph

While emergency responders are well-versed in extricating humans from perilous situations, the unique challenge of rescuing a several-hundred-kilogram animal presents an entirely different set of complexities and dangers. This critical and specialized skill was the focus of an intensive training program in Guelph, where fire crews from across Ontario gathered to hone their expertise in large animal rescue.
