Nordstrom Rack Announces a New 25,000‑Sq‑Ft Store in Ramsey for This Fall

Seattle‑based Nordstrom, Inc. is gearing up for another big move in New Jersey. A brand‑new Nordstrom Rack, roughly 25,000 square feet, is slated to open its doors at the Interstate Shopping Center in Ramsey later this fall.

The upcoming store will sit side‑by‑side with familiar neighborhood names like ShopRite, Five Below and Petco. The shopping center itself is a joint venture between Wafra and Crossroads Companies, with Crossroads handling day‑to‑day property management and leasing.

Gemma Lionello, president of Nordstrom Rack, told reporters the Ramsey location will give shoppers a convenient spot to hunt down discounted designer apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty items and even home goods. “We’re looking forward to becoming part of the Ramsey community and offering customers great brands at great prices,” Lionello said. She also highlighted the ability to pick up online orders from Nordstrom.com or NordstromRack.com and the ease of returns—a little service tweak that many shoppers appreciate.

For New Jersey, this is more than just another outlet. Nordstrom already runs four full‑line Nordstrom stores and nine Rack locations across the Garden State, employing more than 1,600 people. The new Ramsey store pushes that total to ten Rack sites, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to the region.

Shoppers can expect savings of up to 70 percent on a rotating mix of fashion and lifestyle items. Whether you’re after a new pair of sneakers, a handbag, a skincare set, or something cozy for the living room, the Rack aims to make it affordable.
