New Hampshire's Evening Weather: Calm Tonight, Shifting Mid-Week

Alright, good evening everyone! As we bring our Tuesday to a close here across beautiful New Hampshire, it's been a really rather pleasant day for many of us, hasn't it? We certainly enjoyed some lovely sunshine through the day, especially if you were in the southern half of the state, though a few more clouds might have been lingering up north. Temperatures, I think you'll agree, were quite comfortable – perhaps even a touch milder than what we'd typically expect for this time of year, which is always a nice little bonus!

Now, as we settle into our Tuesday night, things are looking pretty calm and clear out there. You can definitely expect those temperatures to dip down quite a bit, so if you're planning on stepping out early tomorrow morning, you’ll absolutely want to grab a light jacket or a sweater. We're forecasting overnight lows to generally settle into the low to mid-40s for most spots. Some of those usual colder, sheltered valley locations might even dip into the upper 30s. No real worries about any precipitation or strong winds to speak of; just a peaceful, quiet night ahead, which is always nice.

So, what about Wednesday, you ask? Well, we’re looking at another fairly nice day to kick things off! The morning hours will very likely start with plenty of sunshine, giving us a really beautiful start to the day. However, here’s where we begin to see a bit of a shift: by the afternoon, we’ll start to notice some increasing cloud cover pushing in from the west. It certainly won’t be a total washout by any means, but those brilliant blue skies will gradually give way to a more partly cloudy picture. Temperatures for Wednesday afternoon should climb comfortably back into the upper 60s, maybe even touching 70 degrees in a few southern communities – quite delightful for mid-week!

And looking a little further down the road, particularly into Thursday and Friday, our weather pattern does start to become a bit more unsettled, unfortunately. We’re tracking a system that could bring us a higher chance of showers, and potentially even a few thunderstorms, as we head toward the very end of the work week. It's still a little bit early to nail down the exact timing and intensity of all that, but just be aware that you might need to grab that umbrella. The upcoming weekend, thankfully, seems to be trending back towards improvement, with a better chance for drier conditions, though temperatures might cool down just a tad.
