Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Action Spectacle ‘Dada’ Set for a December 24 Theatrical Release

Fans of the Telugu “mass” hero finally got a glimpse of what’s coming next. After months of speculation around the working title NBK111, the project has officially been christened ‘Dada’. The announcement came with a striking poster that shows Balakrishna in his trademark swagger – sunglasses, a leather jacket, a chunky gold chain, and a firearm slung over his shoulder.

It isn’t just a poster, though. The makers rolled out a short title glimpse that lets you hear a gravelly voice‑over extolling the power and aura of the lead character, even dubbing him “Sher”. The clip builds tension as police officers surround the hero, threatening to shoot him in the chest. Balakrishna’s response – a terse, defiant line questioning what it really takes to pull a trigger – sets the tone for what the producers are calling a “high‑voltage action entertainer”.

Director Gopichand Malineni, who previously teamed up with Balakrishna for the smash hit Veera Simha Reddy, is at the helm again.
