Bus services are also largely functional, though diversions have been implemented in several waterlogged zones to ensure safety and manage traffic flow. Authorities are closely monitoring critical junctions like the Andheri subway, which was temporarily closed due to high water levels, necessitating diversions for vehicular traffic.

The IMD's forecast indicates a sustained period of moderate to heavy rain for Mumbai and its suburbs, with specific warnings for isolated instances of 'very heavy' rainfall.
