Imagine starting your week, Monday morning, just settling into the rhythm of school, and suddenly – an emergency. That's precisely what unfolded at Los Angeles High School yesterday. A small but certainly significant fire erupted on the roof, turning a typical school day into an unexpected evacuation drill, though one that was very much real.

Around 8:30 AM, just as classes were really getting underway, firefighters from the LA City Fire Department got the call. Smoke was reportedly billowing from the roof of the historic campus, located right there on West Olympic Boulevard.
