Flight delays and cancellations continue to mount at Denver International Airport due to difficult weather conditions and despite “normal’ operations at the airport itself. “While the airport is experiencing cold temperatures, we ask that passengers check with their airlines before heading to the airport, arrive at least two hours before their boarding time and expect some delays if deicing procedures are in place,” said Ashley Forest, an airport spokesperson.
FlightAware, , reports 99 delayed flights in or out of Denver as of Monday morning compared to 14,234 nationally. Denver has 310 cancellations reported on Monday morning compared to 2,649 nationally.
