Montville's Grand Fourth of July Celebration Returns: A 3-Day Extravaganza!

Can you feel that buzz in the air, Montville? Our beloved, three-day Fourth of July Celebration is making its grand return this year, and honestly, I couldn't be more excited! Mark your calendars, because from Friday, June 24th, through Sunday, June 26th, Montville Township is going to be absolutely alight with festivities.

The familiar grounds of Montville Township High School, located at 100 Changebridge Road, will once again transform into a vibrant hub of community fun. Picture this: the delightful sounds of laughter echoing, the tantalizing smells of all sorts of delicious food wafting through the air, and the joyful sights of kids (and adults, let's be honest!) enjoying classic carnival rides and games. Oh, and did I mention live music? Because yes, there will be plenty of that too, setting the perfect soundtrack for a weekend of celebration.

Now, for what many of us eagerly anticipate each year – the fireworks! There’s just something truly magical about a summer night sky exploding with color, isn't there? This year, the absolutely spectacular fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday, June 25th, right around dusk. So find your favorite spot, settle in, and prepare to be dazzled! And hey, because Mother Nature can be a little unpredictable sometimes, they've got a rain date set for Sunday, June 26th, just in case. Fingers crossed for clear skies!

Getting there is easy, and here's a little rundown of when you can join in on the fun. On Friday, things kick off from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Then, on both Saturday and Sunday, the festivities will be running from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM, giving us plenty of time to soak it all in. And here’s a fantastic bit of news: admission to the celebration itself is completely free! You'll just need to grab some tickets or a wristband if you're planning to hop on those thrilling rides or dive into some of the games.
